DS: "Todd is available for selection. He's trained well. We're starting to get our injured players back which is good."
DS: "Isaac Hayden has trained this week and Dimi is returning to training next week."
DS: “JT and Tony have earned those new contracts. We in the process of discussing contracts with others.”
DS: (on Webber) “It doesn’t affect us on the pitch.”
DS: "“I’m different to Daniel Farke. I’m not going to be doing the same things as him. I am not him. You’ve got to have a style of play you want to implement. It doesn’t matter if you play great football on the eye if you don’t win.”
DS: “I’ve always been an advocate of the togetherness model. That includes the players, staff, owners and supporters. Our job is to develop that.”
DS: (on Watford) "They've got a good squad of players as they should do being a team that's come down like ourselves. They had a really good win at Stoke, but they’ve lost their last couple. He’ll have them smarting and fired up."
DS: (on Preston) “It was a game we should have won. We made mistakes and got punished.”
DS on Preston defeat: "I won't be too rash. It's our first defeat in 10 games and have to be mindful of that."
DS: "The reaction (to Preston) has been good. We had the trip to Tigers which they all enjoyed as well. The proof will be tomorrow at Watford."
DS: “I looked at the Premier League and felt we couldn’t out-football any teams. In the Championship I feel we can out-football anyone.”
DS: “What is this 7️⃣:4️⃣5️⃣pm kick-off all about. I’m missing Strictly come Dancing.”

That concludes Dean Smith’s press conference for today.
