I see her role as being ops lead/Chief of Staff type of thing

I don't think she's a creator - didn't McNally describe her as being brilliant at getting things done. But I don't think she'd initiate the things in the first place.
So sounds in line with that. We've not really had the shrewd insight type since Bowkett stepped down. Much more of a lifestyle biz again until the Americans arrived. And still not really clear as to how they'll work.
