and to add to that, what I see a lot from Byram that I didn't from other LBs is him

coming into midfield in the final third when the ball is on the right. Perhaps that's because he is right footed/ It can be a system tweak which Smith has introduced knowing that Byram cannot get down the touchline and cross with his left as Aarons does from the right, and so instead when we attack he brings Byram inside and widens the forward on the left which achieves the same thing.
