I liked game of thrones

But when the standard of entertainment dropped, I enjoyed it less. Just because I like it as a series, doesn't mean I have to wax lyrical about every episode.

I love my football team but the standard of entertainment has dropped quite a lot, in my view.

There are many threads on here (if you look back) where people would discuss "i know TeamX are winning but I couldn't watch them every week, I'd rather watch 'good football'".

I feel a bit like that at the moment. I am unsure if it is still a hangover from last season but the Farke seasons just felt better. More enjoyable, for me.

If people want results, that is great. But eventually, if I'm not enjoying the entertainment, I might not bust a gut to go to every game and then that is the start of a slippery slope.

I moved back to the UK and to Norfolk to go to the football, so this is a big deal for me. I just don't feel the buzz currently, not like I used to.

I don't think it is entitlement, just a lack of the level of enjoyment I used to get. 2 drab Prem seasons and a season of covid-distanced footy has maybe contributed to it all.

I'm just not having as much fun watching it at the moment.

Hopefull, I'll shake it off and forget about it before too long.
