What annoys me is not so much that he’s obviously not gonna make any contribution for us - that happens with transfers sometimes, and it’s not a huge cost. He was a punt. It’s that it was the position we really needed to fill. Not want to take a punt on with a player who hasn’t played for 9 months and is still suffering from the same injury.
