Dean Smith’s press conference ahead of Blackpool will commence at 9️⃣am.

DS: “Hanley and Omobamidele, they are both training today.”

DS: “It didn’t go to plan with Issac. He went back to Newcastle, they felt he had a slight effusion on the knee. He has had to back off for 10 days.”

DS: "Dimi Giannoulis should be back in action later this month"

DS: “They have had some good games. Max played against Germany and Italy U21’s.”

DS: “I had three days off after the West Brom games. The lads that stayed at Colney knuckled down and worked hard.”

DS: “Blackpool aren’t in the best run of form at the moment. They are an aggressive team and have some good players.”

DS: “October is what it is. We know due to the World Cup that we have to pack games in.”

DS: “Man City or Liverpool won’t dominate a whole game. I’m proud of the lads, we took a battering last season in the Premier League. The change in mentality has been brilliant.”

DS: “We appreciate every fan going up there. They might even get a go on the Big Dipper.”
