As much as I hate the childish sectarian s**te, which often isn't even genuine but more a

badge of honour for Celtic fans (do we really hate everybody from Ipswich?), it's a valid and non violent form of protest.

They also weren't calling for anybody to harm royals or royalists.

If you take a step back it isn't really any different from "Stand up if you hate the scum" other than the Celtic fans using slightly less aggressive language.

They simply picked a poignant moment for it.
