My post was more of a rhetorical question really - and your point about him wanting to leave is pure conjecture because he's never said that. Perhaps you know him personally.

Me? I'd take the money, but I still think it slightly weird that I'd take the money ahead of keeping England's third best goalkeeper.

And when he's on form, he IS England's third best goalkeeper, as he showed for 18 months in both the Championship and the Premiership.
