It's either a public holiday

or just an excuse to make some people work and others not. If we're going to do this, do it in full is my approach, so I don't have any issues with shops closing, because I thought that was the point really. Remember all the complaints when the Queen Mother's wasn't a public holiday? And just about everything closes on Easter Sunday for example, which doesn't seem to engender outrage.

Otherwise we may as well have dropped her off down the crem and saved us all a lot of bother.

(I'm expecting to be working but at least I can do it on the sofa with the tv on)
