Unfortunately not. He plays some lovely drives but always looks like nicking off..

Lees and he gave lots of chances this afternoon but they were playing with total freedom given the small chase and it's paid off on this occasion. Just hard to imagine either being able to hold down an opening role for a sustained period though. Need to find another Gooch/Tres/Athers types.
