Dad was in NI in ‘77 when she toured there

He got attached to some SAS op (or they got attached to his), and he spent the tour tracking the royal car from the inside of a transit van intercepting IRA comms. Reckons he saved her life, but obv dunt believe him.

His only other tale was GCHQ days when they built a new toilet block for her, that she didn’t use. Sounds more plausible!
