Regarding the actual London Bridge. My dad used to cross it daily on his way to school. About 10 years ago we were in Lake Havasu in Arizona where the infamous bridge was reconstructed, apparently they were expecting Tower Bridge (urban myth)
We made a point of walking across it instead of driving for dad. When he had great pleasure in telling the waitress that the last time he walked across it was 60 years ago in London. She was totally non plussed by his statement. Must hear it every day!
