This policy is unbelievably s**t because it doesn’t send true price signals and markedly dampens the incentive for anyone to actually reduce demand, and it ends up helping a whole bunch of people that don’t really need help. Oh, and it might bankrupt the country.

Other than that, it’s a real doozy.
