Pukki is the only one who has been a definite starter. The rest have been, or are, squad players, but are good enough to sign for other Championship sides on higher wages as free agents. The choice may be sign with us and be second or more likely third or worse choice in the Prem or earn similar wages and start more regularly.

But we miss out on a few small £m in lost transfer value.
