I get all that, and I can see why the board felt the need to sack him

I think he gave this interview really soon after the moment so it was his honest emotion speaking rather than something he might’ve thought of if he had had more time.

I don’t know how I would feel if I was a Bournemouth fan but speaking as an impartial observer, I enjoyed watching that interview rather than a cliched one that we could all think of if we weren’t involved emotionally.
