Tho given the reps of Cantwell/Rashica plus the other AMF players we've been looking to sign I can see why we'd have wanted to thin out the squad there.

From the highlights last season Sinani did seem to thrive in that flanking attacking role were using, and Dowell has always felt (for me) the most likely Stiepermann replacement in that number 10 role.

Glad that we're starting to see signs of things clicking, feels like there's something for Smith to build on now.
