I'm mainly encouraged by the partnerships that are developing

Sinani/Dowell and Sargent
Gibbs with Dowell and Nunez

There's still tweaks and evolution of what we're doing that's needed,but I'm hoping that Smith starts to build from these growing partnerships.

We (and Deano) have been unlucky in the past year in that the Prem is unforgiving in helping form these understandings,and we've also been knackered by injuries.

It's also pleasing that we don't necessarily need to rush Pukki back into full games while he's recovering (and we are starting to see some proper backup/competition for him) but also that those chances look like the kind of thing he could have taken too.

All positive signs. Good work to all involved.
