What do lawyers call it when someone is accused of something (in print!) that isn’t true?

I’m not going to blame the manager! I might not love Deansmith in the way I loved Daniel, but that doesn’t mean that I don’t want him to succeed! I have definitely mentioned tactics and style but I realise I am very ignorant on the subject. I have done my best to follow the links given, but I’m still baffled. I think all that I’ve been yearning for is for the team to click – I think that is the same with a lot of people – after that I don’t mind how we play. (As I have said before, it does not have to be Farkeball!)

I’m not jumping into any ‘camp’ at the moment. I spent Sunday morning reading The Roth and bouncing from one point of view to an opposing one (a bit like that character in the Fast Show). Other than the Hibs friendly, I haven’t seen us play this season. The bits I have caught show some promise but I am looking forward to seeing the team in the flesh tonight.

This I will standby:

1. While I loved Daniel and was devastated when he left, I completely accept that he is gone and is not coming back – wouldn’t want him to come back – so there is no rivalry between him and Deansmith!

2. I will be endlessly patient with the team and manager if I feel there is some hope and promise of better things to come. (But be prepared for me to sigh and do sad face emojis if continue to be as disjointed and frustrating as they were last season)

PS This is something that has been bugging me. If Deansmith gets a free pass because the players were so bad, why didn’t Daniel?
