3 is actually quite a big change I'm afraid - you're outnumbered

the logistics are quite a bit harder as a result (pro tip: Zafira Tourer will fit 3 car sets across the middle if you need to).

Nothing insurmountable though, just throw money at it. You soon realise just how much of life is set up for 2+2 mind.

The real danger of 3 though is that, once you've cracked it, the arguments against 4 are completely and utterly shot. Eg Any car big enough for 2+3 is big enough for 2+4. A table big enough for a family of 5 is big enough for a family of 6. The additional food needed for 5 people gives enough left overs to feed 6.
