A personal experience

Back in the late 90’s Mrs KC and I were at a midweek cup match at Carrow Road and we saw a baby asleep in a sling blissfully unaware of the noise or what was going on. We’ll give that a try we thought, and we planned our trip to the fine city complete with a two month old Gemma and a bootful of the usual items required for a little one.

She’s previously not been too bad in the sling but on the day Gemma hated it, constantly cried and fidgeted, and would not sleep despite have been filled with milk. Of course the milk had to somewhere and that somewhere was me as the nappy had slipped as a result of Gemma being in the baby sling. My jumper and t-shirt were soaked with pish which I had to wear until the end of the game.

Experiment result : fail. We didn’t try it again
