Fine margins *and* injuries, but…

… this has been a recurring theme for quite a while, to the extent that one might, if one was in charge, try changing team selection, tweak tactics, generally change things around a bit. To the supporters, some of whom have been watching football long enough to know what they’re talking about, there seems to be little evidence of this.

If you’re underperforming in any job, or your team is, you’re held accountable. Most of us don’t get the sack as easily as managers do, but then we’re not paid anywhere near as much.
