They are odd. Such a lovely looking place but only used for the kids. It spends most of July and August unused. Just always thought it such a shame. I still love Brooke. Not only because we actually won the cup there but the little bar and trees on one side then moo moo cows on the other. Mind, bowling wise, it's got a hell of a slope!! Loved Eaton park back in the day too. So many matches on the go, I remember 5 matches being played, everyone under the trees and the cafe came along with ice lollies to buy. Now - no cricket. Anyway. Best game in the world. And brooke.
