Farke always had all three interchanging constantly

That was when Todd was at his most effective IMO.

I felt that last season with his change of formation (and possibly fearing it wouldn't work without Buendia) put a stop to that and reduced our creativity tremendously.

I assume it was intended to sacrifice a bit of the creative flair to achieve a more solid defence. Obviously we know the end result of that.
