Always believed that with decent money to spend DF

would be one of the world’s best managers and still feel the same way. In my 50 years plus he’s the best manager we’ve had by some margin. I can understand some of the reasons for moving him on at the time but clearly the problems were recruitment and not the manager. It’s a decision this’ll our club will regret for a long time. Loved how he brought the club together. I’m fully supportive of Smith but I honestly don’t think he’s a patch on DF.
