Fundamentally, if your team lacks a bit of football skill compared to the opposition, workrate / intensity gives you a chance.

I mean what you say is true in some ways, but not the fundamental ones that drive success in the PL without a PL budget. Long term it always ends in relegation, but short term it doesn’t have to.
