Bear In Mind...

....I haven't said it should be banned, not take place or that its wrong etc.

Just that a little advance warning might be appreciated before the lightshow begins. You know, "...there'll be a display at half time", that sort of thing.

Not unlike people with nut allergies having the benefit of a warning on packing. But none of them want Topic or Snickers bars banned.
