I've met one silly Spurs fan too many in my time.

Selected highlights from the silliest one I knew (who was quite an intelligent, articulate bloke)

"Tottenham are a naturally winning team" (in 2002, when they'd won two trophies since 1984)

"Sol Campbell knows he made a mistake. He'll come crawling back" (after Campbell had just won the Double - perhaps the medals would weigh him down?)

"Tottenham are a bigger club than Arsenal" (How so?)

"I'm sick of the Pro-Arsenal Media Conspiracy" (the conspiracy to present them as Double winners and holders of the longest unbeaten record? Kennedy-esque, that)

All very silly. And - sadly - not untypical among Tottenham fans. First thing I ask a Spurs fan is if they consider Tottenham a "big club" and if they say "yes" I go and talk to somebody else.
