I used to love the Garfield books.

The warm up act was a group of dancing ladies who looked like they really didn't want to be there. When they had finished Jim Davidsons poked his head out from the side of the stage and said 'awight' and gave his cheeky trademark grin. This received a small ripple of applause. He was clearly up the arse with this reception and said 'I'll try that again shall I?' I didn't get much better after that.

Other than I don't remember too much about it apart from a bizarre rambling piece about Linford Christie, which I would really rather forget.
