I wasn’t really responding, just adding.

I’m aware you weren’t saying that about new players, but there have been many comments to that end, or close to it, here and on Twitter.

My personal opinion, for what it’s worth, is that the football we’ve endured under Smith, and the bizarre change of strategy at the start of last season, is the dullest I’ve seen for years, if not ever. Even under Hughton we had Wes. It’s like the days of Milligan and Carey. I’d not miss him or the hilarious “Shakey” at all. He had a couple of decent seasons at Brentford and is still living off that.
