But having strong backup (like Rhodes provided) is an absolute necessity.

Our seeming obsession with attacking midfielders has led to a very unbalanced squad, which in turn I think hasn't helped with consistency and keeping them all engaged.

Dowell (and maybe pukki) look to me to be the only players suited to the number 10 role. Cantwell hasn't really clicked there.

We've lacked a decent Stiepi backup/replacement more than anything tbh.

(apart from a skipp esque dfm natch)
