Confident that this will happen?

We didn’t make the signings needed last summer (don’t think there’s any argument on that from anywhere). That became the downfall of Farke.
Then Smith comes in and doesn’t do the thing we were told of being able to improve the players while maintaining the philosophy.
Now we hear that he needs time to build his team. We’ve signed players who aren’t ready (again) and trying to get tunes out of the same players - why should that suddenly happen.
I don’t think there’s a clear plan, hoping that there’s going to be some new look team in the next few weeks is more optimistic than I feel.
