but it is a great story and worth knowing about Marcelino Núñez. When he was 13, his dad was driving him to training at U Católica and they saw two women struggling to replace a tyre and helped them...
The two women were producers from a show called "Extreme Makeover" and sensed the Núñez family needed help. When they visited their house in Colina, they found they lived in very basic conditions without hot water and a house badly in need of a makeover...perfect for the show.
His parents somehow got by on a very little raising the family and dedicating much of what they had to invest in Marcelino's burgeoning football talent. Marcelino has often said in interviews he doesn't know how it was possible.
His family are big believers in god so they put this luck down to god. The house makeover came with plenty of new things inside and a new car, gifting them a new life basically. Marcelino had his room decorated like a stadium. It all felt like a beautiful dream to him.
His family is religious and they put it down to faith in god. You can see much of this story and how Marcelino has always been one of those people with a smile on his face whatever the circumstances here. He's a humble guy from humble beginnings...💛💚

I hope this post and video gives you all an insight into his difficult beginnings and the hard work that it has taken to get him a move to Norwich (hopefully).
