The concern does seem to be about utility prices more than Ukrainians though

It’s a very strange and sad world, where a majority routinely ignore news reports of the Ukraine being flattened, but are then outraged that their gas bill is threatening their bubble of privilege existence.
A toxic mix of ignorance and selfishness which now defines the U.K. electorate.
