I know your love for Daniel means that you think everything is Dean's fault but ...

Farkeball relied on a few very skilful players, especially Emi (and Mario to an extent). Without Emi Farke's record wasn't that great.

Emi wanted to go (sad but he was too good for us) and Webber then really wasted the money. Sargent, Tzolis, Kabak, Normann, PLM, Gilmour, even Rashica ... deeply, deeply disappointing.

Farke got sacked because we had 5 points from 11 games. And we were awful. The reason we were awful is because he no longer had good enough players.

DeanSmith has got the same players. It's not rational to expect him to be doing any better with them because you can't polish a turd. Sargent shouldn't be anywhere near our team, he's awful. But there he is.

The only hope we've got is that the players who weren't good enough for the Prem turn out to be good enough for the Champs. I'm not holding my breath.
