Lovely to see the crowd allowed on the pitch during tea at Scarborough

as it used to be on all county cricket grounds when I was a kid. Lots standing staring at the pitch as if they could see something significant, most without a clue (as I would be). Apart from seeing if it is a bit green or bowlers footsteps and rough, no real reason to stare at it for 15 minutes. Harmless, I suppose.
