Cardiff Away - by car

Given GWR trains will be f**ked, any locals/experienced hands able to recommend best places to park for saturday?

(Or is it just a case of parking in the shopping areas and walking over from the centre?)

I always park at Tesco in Llandaff and walk along the River Taff into town.
