is that Worthy's transfer policy involves no forward planning and hence he just gets in anyone who is 'available'. So when he realises we're a bit short in midfield, he phones around targetting players who played well against us, asking if they're available or if anyone is available - hence our shambles of signings last summer. And I fear the same thing could happen this summer. If players aren't available at the right price, we're going to be bringing in some shockers like Thorne I fear unless we can pull off some Damien Francis-esqu signings for ~ ?250,000.
