Really loved that he would bowl Marshall third change in one day matches.
First time I went to cricket was to see Richards and Greenidge batting at Headingly. When we got there the opening pair was Greenidge and Rock. Needn't have worried. Gordon kept hitting the ball over the pavilion, and broke at least 2 car windscreens. He scored 208 out of about 320 and Hampshire won easily. This was at the same time that Boycott ran out Derek Randall at Trent Bridge.
