he was an unrated 4th tier player who was thinking about chucking it in.

I know its easy to slate the club for some of the big money signings but we have done really well in the cheaper markets.
All the players we have brought in for pennies who turned out to be good enough for the upper champs level.
That's actually pretty hard to do.
Look at all the big clubs stuck in the champs wondering how we did it on a small budget.
