It took Farke time to mould us from 4-4-2(ish) to a 4-5-1 team.
we spent last year trying to become a 4-3-3 team with the core of a 4-5-1 team (our previous attacking midfielders aren't naturals in the wide attacking roles for 4-3-3, nor well suited to the midfield 3 roles).
Still inclined to think we need flexibility to shift between systems.
Pukki/Hugill/Idah being the options if we're playing a front two
In a front three it feels like Hugill or Idah feel better at the apex than pukki (altho I could see him flanking)
The flanking attackers would be Rashica/Tzolis/Cantwell/Sarge (Idah/Pukki)
I think Dowell/Cantwell actually need to be more central to be most effective and don't naturally fit either in the 4-3-3 or 4-4-2 systems.
If we're going to challenge this year I think it's still the spine we need to strengthen
The two CMs we've bought are injured - other than that we've got sorenson & McLean - though potentially could have those deeper lying with Dowell/Cantwell as the creative MF slightly ahead. Still think we need an extra body in there.
Our CBs are Hanley/Gibson/Andy O and... Tomkinson? (He looks good, but it'd be good to have an extra body in here and loan him out for game time)
And I think there's always room for another striker - as has been highlighted, if Tzolis (and Rashica) leaves we look a bit short on pace.
I'd also be more than happy to see Onel involved - he's pacy and hard to knock off the ball and experienced at this level - and he has a norwich tat - tho he probably needs rebranding
