Advice please - money being nicked off me!

I have a pay as you go phone - have not signed up to any s**tty subscriptions, hopwever, twice in the last week I've received a text saying some stuff about "Girls in your area..etc..etc" and it seems that my balance has gone down by 3 or 4 quid.
How can this be when I haven't signed up to anything?? And what do I do about it??
