But there is also clear evidence that, having been bright lights at lower-league levels, players can lose their momentum at Norwich (Adshead, Bushiri, Fitzpatrick just three examples)

I think maybe the Godfrey-Experience made it seem all too easy (dirt-cheap, successful loans, injury gave him a first-team place, sold for a mahoosive profit)
