Question re: windows media player / burning

any nerdyyy out there able to tell me where im going wrong as my laptop wont allow me to burn from wmp to cd all my vids... it does however allow me to burn my mp3 music to cd ..... any help please! is it something i need to do or buy???? ta - WORTHY OUT
