It is never too early for some Numbers

EFL regs limit clubs to a 25-man Senior squad, of which 8 must be Home Grown. Plus an unlimited number of U-21s.
Any on-loan player is counted as Senior, age irrespective.

City currently have 26 players (12 HG) who are 'Senior'.
I reckon we'll clear at least five spaces (below) for new signings (loans or 21+)

Two of Placheta and Hugill (HG) / Hernandez
One of Aarons / Cantwell (both HG)
One of McGovern / McCracken (HG) excluded from the Squad
