highlights tend to centre around goals, which make attacking players look good and defenders look s**te (not many tackles make highlight reels). McVeigh's problem was not what he did but what he didn't do (and thge length of time he spent not doing it). Consistency (over a game let alone a season) isn't something that can be captured on a highlight reel.
