Having players of the quality of Buendia transforms the whole squad

similar to when we signed Huckerby or Holt. In the last few years we've lost Godfrey, Skipp and Buendia and have not got close to replacing any of them with remotely similar quality.

Whether Rashica or Dowell are improvements over Hernandez and Stiepermann is very debatable. And even if they are, it is so marginal, compared with the massive whole left by Buendia.
