I suspect he'd worked out...

that the only way we would have had a prayer of staying up was to have sacked Farke immediately after promotion and not recruited on the basis that we would be playing Farkeball. But given how good we looked last season and how popular Farke was that wasn't a realistic option. We don't have the type of players we needed because they weren't Farkeball type players.
