I do wonder if an easier first 6 games compared to Brentford

Brentford had
Arsenal H
Palace A
Villa A
Brighton H
Wolves A

Plus Oldham and forest green in the cup

We had
Liverpool H
Man city
leics H
arsenal A
Watford H

Plus Liverpool and Bournemouth in the cup

This meant that confidence was quickly knocked and moulding a new team was hard.
Therefore Watford and Leeds became win or bust games.

Not saying it's the reason we went down but the fixture list has screwed us twice
