I think it's pretty normal

if you have a boss who is a dickhead, you keep quiet and accept that maybe he's worth putting up with and a necessary evil when things are going well.

When things go to s**t though the grumblings and rumours will start to get louder and inevitably will make their way to the media. Even more so, when Webber himself is giving such ridiculous interviews.
