I've really found I've pretty much become immune to it all over the last decade or so

Well, the downsides.
I accept we're pretty much going to always bob between and around the top two divisions. When we do well in the Champs I try to savour it and lap it up as much as possible, in the knowledge the following season is very likely to be rubbish, not much fun at all and, at times, humiliating. It is what it is.

I've not really been bothered about this season, other than when Farke went which upset me, although I got the reasons behind his removal.
